Both the macOS and iOS versions are, in my humble opinion, the best Twitter clients available today. In other words, it was a major step back and broke a ton of natural and native workflows. This worked well but we took away a handful of options some people depended on.We are working on bringing back some of the most popular aspects of Tweetbot 2.
My failure, though, is that Im not actually sharing anything useful for the team so I admit that Im being a bit lazy here. Whos to know if they would have captured these issues before launch with more user testing but it is a visceral reminder that getting customer feedback is important for significant upgrades and iterations. This full-featured client has fantastic support for multiple accounts and lists. It also has powerful mute filters, multiple column views, and much more. Tweetbot feels right at home in Yosemite with its beautiful interface, animations, support for Retina Displays and Notification Center. Open saved searches, lists, mentions, direct message conversations and more into columns or windows and never miss a tweet. Mute Filters. Hide tweets that you dont want to see for a short period or forever. Mute people, hashtags, or tweets via keywords (includes regex). If you use Tweetbot on iOS, your timeline, unread status, and mute filters will automatically stay in sync so you can always continue where you left off across devices. Tweetbot supports bitly, CloudApp, Droplr, img.ly, Instapaper, Mobypicture, Pinboard, Pocket, Readability, and yfrog. Note in this mode all user names still count towards the 140 character limit. Fixes an issue where fullscreen Tweetbot window may not have resized when screen resolution changed. Fixes a potential crasher when viewing collections for a user that had a large number of collections. ![]()
